Terms of Use
Last updated: July 16, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and AI Canadian Solutions ("we", "us"), the maker of GameFlixer. By creating an account or using GameFlixer you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
1. What GameFlixer is — and is not
GameFlixer is a player for content you already own. It lets you play free web games supplied by third-party game providers, play game files you upload from your own devices, and stream video from media servers you already run (Jellyfin, Emby, Plex).
GameFlixer is not a content source. We do not supply, sell, index, link to, search for, fetch or "find" game ROMs, movies, shows or any other copyrighted media. There is no catalog of downloadable content anywhere in the service, and there never will be. If it plays in GameFlixer, it is either a licensed free web game from a provider, or it came from you.
2. Your uploads are YOUR responsibility
- You are solely responsible and solely liable for every file you upload to GameFlixer, and for every server you connect to it. We provide the player; you provide the content; the legal responsibility for that content is entirely yours.
- You must own the content or hold the legal right to use it in your country. For game files, that typically means backups you personally made from games you own, homebrew, or titles whose rights holder permits distribution. If you are not sure you have the right to a file, do not upload it.
- You promise (warrant) to us that nothing you upload or connect infringes anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights, and that your use of it is lawful where you live.
- You indemnify us: if anyone — a rights holder, a regulator, anyone — brings a claim against AI Canadian Solutions because of content you uploaded or connected, you agree to defend us and cover our losses, including legal costs.
- Your uploads are stored privately and are visible only to your account. GameFlixer has no sharing, no public library and no way for other users to access your files — and you must not attempt to create one.
- We do not review uploads, but if we receive a valid infringement notice we will act on it as described in our Copyright Policy, which can include removing content and terminating repeat infringers' accounts.
3. Your account
- You must give accurate information and keep your password secure. Everything done from your account is treated as done by you.
- One account per person. You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age in your country).
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, abuse the service, or attack it. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.
4. Acceptable use
Bring-your-own-media means exactly that. GameFlixer is a player and organiser for content you already lawfully have — it does not provide, host, index or source games, ROMs, movies or any other copyrighted content, and it must never be used as if it did. You are solely responsible for holding the rights to every game file, ROM and media library you load or connect (see Section 2).
You must not:
- Upload or connect content you do not have the legal right to use, or use the service to infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights in any way.
- Attempt to share, publish, resell or make available your library, saves or streams to anyone else through the service, or use GameFlixer to distribute content to others.
- Upload malware, probe or attack the service, scrape it, overload it, or try to access other users' data or accounts.
- Circumvent, disable or abuse plan limits, storage quotas, security measures or access controls, or any other technical restriction of the service.
- Use GameFlixer to violate any law, or circumvent technical protection measures where that is unlawful in your country.
5. Free games and third-party providers
Free web games are supplied by external providers under their own licences and may include the provider's own advertising. Those games and ads are governed by the provider's terms and privacy policy, not ours. Availability of any given game is up to the provider and can change without notice.
6. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable.
- If a paid feature (such as cloud saves) lapses with your plan, your data is kept for a reasonable grace period so you can export or re-subscribe.
7. Your content stays yours
You keep all rights to what you upload. You grant us only the narrow licence we need to operate the service: storing your files, transcoding/serving them back to you, and backing them up. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account (see the deletion page).
8. Service is provided "as is"
GameFlixer is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that any particular game, core or format will work on your device. Emulation performance depends on your hardware.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, AI Canadian Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of GameFlixer. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or CAD $50 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes to the service or these terms
We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms. If we make a material change we will post it on the site and update the date at the top. Continuing to use GameFlixer after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Disputes belong to the courts of Ontario, unless mandatory consumer law in your country gives you the right to your local courts.
