Copyright & DMCA Policy

Last updated: July 24, 2026

AI Canadian Solutions respects intellectual property rights and expects every GameFlixer user to do the same. This page explains how copyright works on GameFlixer and how rights holders can reach us.

How GameFlixer is built to respect copyright

  • We host no catalog. GameFlixer does not supply, index, link to, search for or fetch game ROMs, films, shows or any other copyrighted media. The only games we offer directly are free web games licensed to us through commercial game providers.
  • User uploads are private. A file a user uploads is visible only to that user's own account. There is no sharing, no public library, no search across users, and no way for one user to access another's files. GameFlixer does not distribute user content to anyone — it plays a user's own files back to that same user.
  • Users bear the responsibility. Our Terms of Use require every user to upload only content they own or have the legal right to use, and make each user solely liable for what they upload, including a duty to indemnify us for claims arising from it.

Reporting infringement (notice & takedown)

Rights holders: send notices to

gameflixer@aicanadiansolutions.ca — subject line "Copyright infringement notice".

For us to act on a notice (consistent with the DMCA and Canada's notice-and-notice regime), please include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  2. Enough information to locate the allegedly infringing material on our service (URLs, account, file names — remembering that uploads are private, so specificity helps).
  3. Your name, organisation, and contact details (email and address).
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What we do with a valid notice

  • We act promptly — normally within 72 hours of verifying the notice.
  • We remove or disable access to the identified material.
  • We notify the affected user and forward them the substance of the notice.
  • We keep a record of the notice as Canadian law requires.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address, including: identification of the removed material, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief that removal was mistaken, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada. Unless the original claimant tells us within 14 days that they have started legal proceedings, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that are the subject of repeated valid infringement notices will be terminated. We may also terminate immediately for flagrant infringement.

Misuse of this process

Knowingly false infringement notices and counter-notices can carry legal liability for the sender. Please do not use this process for disputes that are not about copyright.
